A few minutes after 6pm Station 3-1 (Bareville) and Rescue 3-9 along with EMS were sent to the Intersection of Peters Rd. & Rt. 23 for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment. Chief 3-9 arrived updating it to a 3-9 box due to accident location and confirmed 1 trapped.

Engine 3-1-1 was advised to take Engine Co. Operations upon arrival while Rescue 3-9 began Rescue Co. Operations. Engine 3-9-1 supported the Rescue with the extrication efforts of the moderately trapped patient from the vehicle. The vehicle had been severely impacted on the drivers door from hitting a utility pole and came to rest against the pole.

Extrication took about 20 minutes until the patient was placed in EMS care for transport. Units cleared the scene in just under an hour.
