-
Around 08:30, station's in Eastern Lanc. Co. and Western Chester Co. began running wires and investigation related calls. From New Holland To Elverson, and Honey Brook to Bowmansville, people were experiencing either no power or flickering power. The power disruption affected electrical equipment throughout the area and sent units to the Sunoco Gas Station in Bowmansville for the reported building on fire. Additional was odor of something burning with a haze from an unknown source. Truck 3-9 and Rescue 3-9 responded with crews of 6 each.

While en route, County advised command 3-3 (Bowmansville) of a second building assignment being put out in their local. This one to the Bowmansville Service Plaza on the PA Turnpike. County dispatched the additional assignment and command 3-3 had all responding units redirect to the Service Plaza. Truck 3-9 split crew and sent 2 in with multi gas meters to the basement while the rest of the crew set up PPV. Rescue 3-9 established the RIT. After once again confirming malfunctioning electrical service, units took up and went available.

Later in the evening during weekly drill night, Truck 3-9 was sent as part of the first alarm assignment to Melvin Dr. in Co. 3-1's local (Bareville) for the reported house on fire. Units from 3-1 contained a small fire and held the truck on scene while they checked for extension. The Truck cleared the scene within 10 minutes.

Also in the morning, Fire Police assisted PD at Shirk Rd. and Main Street.
