Station 3-2 (Blue Ball) and Truck 3-9 were sent to the 1500 Blk. of Briertown Rd. in East Earl Twp. shortly after lunchtime for a reported chimney fire. Units from 3-2 arrived and placed a 28' ground ladder to the roof and sent a crew inside to begin emptying the wood stove contents. Truck 3-9 arrived and set up to fly, while the rest of the crew placed a second 28' ladder to the roof assist the members from 3-2 on the roof. The Truck remained on scene for about 20 minutes before being released by command.
