Around 09:30 hrs, Station 3-9, Eng. 3-2-2 (Blue Ball), Truck 4-2 (Gap) & Rescue 4-8 (Ronks) along with EMS were sent to 14 S. Tower Rd. to Yoders Country Market for the reported building on fire. Additional given to responding units was a smoking HVAC unit on the roof over the book store. Truck 3-9 arrived and set up ground ladders to the alpha side along with the Aerial and made access to the roof. Crews from Truck 4-2 and Rescue 3-9 assisted Truck 3-9 on the roof, while the Engine crews evacuated the book store and Common Hallway to check the interior where they encountered a light to moderate smoke condidtion with a burnt electrical smell.

Finding nothing on the roof, crews cleared the roof while the eng. crews finished up checking on some items above the drop ceiling in the book store before all units were placed available.
