On Feb. 5th & 6th Lancaster Co. experienced a classic Nor' Easter. The Storm dumped anywhere from 20 - 30 inches of snow across the County. Being a weekend, not many people ventured out which cut down on emergency calls. New Holland volunteers handled a few fire police calls and assisted EMS with patient access to several calls throughout the weekend. During the storm, members maintained staffing for 2 pieces of apparatus.

Monday, FF Moyer & FF Ruoss spent the afternoon shoveling out fire hydrants along the main roads of the borough. If you live by a fire hydrant please take a few minutes to assure the hydrant is shoveled clear of snow for about a 3' radius.

The region is now bracing itself for the second 20"+ snowstorm in 3 days. Members will be providing staffing once again to ensure timely response to any possible emergency calls.
